As news continues to bring about the increased impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout our community and the world, we feel it’s important to connect directly with you and to share our plans in helping keep you, our patients, our employees and our community safe and healthy.

Jungle Roots Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics is committed to making our patients and staff members our top priority. Our office has always been maintained through cleaning and sanitation practices set forth by OSHA and the ADA, but we have increased that same level of disinfecting throughout the office and common areas including disinfecting door handles, pens, computers, chairs countertops, etc. between patients. We are also providing hand sanitizer for all who visit. We are taking temperatures of all that enter the office and are asking patients to wait in their cars until they are ready to be seen at which time we will send a text message to you. In addition, we are asking those families that have been on a cruise, out of the country, or show signs of not feeling well, to please reschedule their appointments.

There are many things to balance to make educated, responsible decisions so that we meet the demands of all that we are facing while treating those patients with a higher degree of need. Beginning Friday, March 20, Dr. John Culp will be seeing patients that he deems as emergent care and are in need of treatment to avoid further challenges and complications to their health. All patients that are seen will follow the steps outlined above. All other appointments including hygiene and orthodontics will be rescheduled. For now, Jungle Roots Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics will maintain this schedule for at least one week and we continually reassess as things progress and change. The health of your child is crucial and we are doing all that we can to maintain that. Please understand that you have a choice and may decide to reschedule based on your personal decisions. We encourage you to keep the appointments that Dr. Culp has established as emergent care, but understand should you need to change.

Our hearts go out to all given everyone has been affected by this. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed and updated with any changes. We are so grateful to our amazing patients and their families and we thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we navigate these uncertain times. God bless and be well.

Sincerely,

Dr. John Culp, D.M.D., P.C.
